The picturesque circuit at Croft presents a set of unique challenges for drivers. Firstly, being so far north, most teams rarely have the opportunity to test there. Secondly, with all of the downforce available, the SR8s take great swathes of the circuit flat out - requiring full commitment from the driver. And, finally, the Complex and Hairpin are serious technical corners.

As the headline event in Dunlop’s ‘Great & British’ Motorsport Festivals, the British Radical Cup receives extensive media coverage.

During 2008, each round of the ‘Great & British’ Motorsport Festival is televised on Sky Sports, which is beamed into 10 million UK homes. In addition, Motors TV, avidly watched by 15 million motorsport fans around Europe, televises the same programme. The first showing usually takes place around 10 days after the event, with eight repeated showings, at various times of the day.
